They, who are the same as any women around the world, have had their lives totally upended, overnight, and now are drawing on their own internal resources to help themselves, their children, parents, husbands, neighbors and strangers just simply survive.

Remembering Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris

With the recent devastating fire that occurred at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, I recalled my visit there last June.

I was so moved by that space, I wrote an extensive piece about it in another blog post.

I am now so grateful that I went, and spent so much time there. For now the great spires are gone and so much damage has been inflicted.

It's also worthy to note that it occurred on Good Friday.
