It may not look like much to you. But this is sheer joy to me.
It’s my storage room on Maui, Hawaii. And it's empty.
All the time I was in Assisi, thinking about how I could manage to move there, so many things were on my mind and several more to coordinate: a storage room in San Diego, a car in San Diego, and a storage room on Maui.
In that storage room were lots of things I needed now that I would be making Assisi my future home: some books I need, my juicer, and all of my winter clothes. I know, right? What are they doing in Hawaii? Well, when I relocated here in 2014, I took all my stuff with me. At one point, I said to myself, “Why do I need all of these winter clothes anymore? I’m never going to live in a winter climate again.” But here you go, and yes, Assisi does have winter and occasional snow, and now I already have all that stuff, just not in the right part of the world!
I was planning to have a week in Maui to do all of this digging around, getting rid of - donating and selling - and then transferring it all to another, smaller storage room a few miles up the road. This would put it all in a more convenient location for future visits and at about ½ the cost. Believe me, when you’re paying monthly for storage, and this goes on for a year, you shop for rates. And I found them!
OK. So forget about having a week to do it. The storage facility told me I needed to be out by Sunday night at 7 pm. I had the weekend, and that’s it! I flew in on Saturday. It was a 6-hour flight from San Diego, then I had the afternoon for a few hours before they closed, then Sunday until they closed at 2:30.
This was not going to be easy, and I did think the night before, 'What am I, crazy? This isn’t going to be possible!’ But I knew also that it had to be, there was no other choice. It needed to be done.
This storage room was full! Plus… can I tell you I have a few books? Like, 15 boxes? Plus training courses, many years of my journals printed out… I mean, just heavy things!
Then… because it was so last minute, there was little help to be found. And you know, I just had to muster up, change my attitude, and just DO WHATEVER IT TAKES.
Each box: from out of the storage room, onto a cart. The cart to the elevator, down the stairs, the cart to the car. Fill the car, drive to the other location, unload the car onto a cart, up the elevator, down a very long hallway, loading into the new room, one car load at a time.
But you know what? I had just woken up that morning, and although I got little sleep that night and the night before, driving to the location I knew, I knew I could change my mind.
And when the mind changes, the body follows.
What you think is what you will perceive, and what you perceive is what you will create.
No one is in control of your mind but you.
I changed my mind. I realized how excited I was to be reunited with my things after 15 months.
I realized how important it was for me to do this transfer because I wanted to keep the things I had on Maui, on Maui, where one day I will have a part-time home.
Everything was good. I could do this, I knew I could. One box at a time, one load at a time, until it was done.
And you know what?
It wasn’t really that hard! It was fine. Really, it was!
At the end of the day, of course, I was fatigued. But in my body only. In my mind and in my heart and in my spirit, I was done with everything that was hard, and now I could enjoy the rest of the week in peace. In relaxation.
DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (if that’s what I wanted, which for me, only lasts about a day or two! LOL).
Ok - this message to you is about a lot more than emptying a storage room in record time.
It’s about what’s needed when you’re fulfilling your dreams.
So many things in your physical reality start changing and happening all at once. You simply end up with a lot to do, and in very little time to do it in! I know, I’ve been through this so many times before!
I this is why, really, I've been led on my path to assist others in mid-wifing change into their lives.
When you get through all the difficult moments, your dream becomes a reality, you’re actually living it, and all the things you did to make that dream happen are what YOU did. YOU followed through on the action steps necessary. YOU took the risks, managed the unexpected turn of events. YOU found a way, and YOU did it!
Can any of you think of a time when you were accomplishing a huge step in your life, and a lot was demanded of you?
And did you survive, or what?
When I ended my day, I found myself on this beach staring at this turtle at sunset. She too was exhausted, and just crashed there to rest. Such a perfect reflection of what I was feeling!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to receive special, one-on-one care in your life's transformation? This doesn’t you have to go way big. In fact, in 30 days, this is usually all you need for a concentrated boost to get you on track to where you want to be, do or create in your life.
In that 30 days we are going to:
I will provide the framework for the guidance that helps you decide what you want, hold you accountable to the thing you say, and want to do, and then you are going to be the one that raises yourself up! You get the credit, and can feel fully responsible for your results because you did it!
I could not have accomplished any of the things I have during this last 16 months (and throughout my life in fact!) without the help and guidance of so many teachers and coaches who are professionals.
This week, I'm announcing that I’m looking for just 5 people to take on for these next 30 days, which is why I've deeply discounted it until those spots are filled. I'm feeling so primed and ready to be of assistance in helping anyone shift where they are now, to where they want to be.
And if you're on my list and reading this? You're the first ones to know about it, and now have the chance to get in line, fill out your application and let's see if what you want for yourself is in alignment with this set of sessions!
This program is normally $3000.
For the next 5 people, it’s $1500. Only now. Only 5 people. Most likely, only this week.
