When You Feel Sick and Tired of Everything

This is actually a good thing - and what lots of people can be feeling this time of the year!

Check out the 5 steps that will get you out of this fairly quickly, and have you on the road to looking forward to your own blooms and blossoms this coming year.

I know it’s spring. I know we’re seeing the beauty of nature burst outward in all of her most colorful and vibrant expressions of the whole year.

This inspires us, pulls us forward, brings our minds to the ideas of how we would like to create and express beautiful things as well!

But we look around, and we can see the last vestiges of winter, or perhaps a similar expression of such as it remains in our lives.

There are a lot of leftovers from our previous expressions that now want to be wrapped up, completed, and whatever remains to be buttoned up and put away. High up on some shelves somewhere, where they cannot be seen anymore.

Or perhaps they are let go of completely, removed from our lives, as we choose to lift higher.

What sort of expression in your life are you looking at now, that is the leftover of a previous season?

A season that at one time suited you. But now you’ve changed, you feel different, you want more. Or at least, something very different than before.

We’re all feeling this. If you’re alive, spring will have this effect. New Moons - just passed on April 5 - ask us to set new intentions for the next month. The current cosmic shifts are asking us to set new intentions for the next 7 years!

So what happens when you feel tired, or ‘sick of it’ as the expression goes, when it comes to the normal everyday parts of your life?

What if you’re feeling like you ‘just want out,’ but you 'can’t'. Or, what if the change you want to occur is happening just too damned slowly!

Here are a few ideas to consider when you feel like you’re in this state:

1. Don’t ignore how you currently feel. You have to look at it. Even if you look around, and you feel like your life ‘should be wonderful,’ your feelings matter. Your feelings are the guideposts for what’s next for you.
2. Yes, do feel gratitude for all that you have. This is an important aspect not to overlook. It can shift your perception almost immediately. Not recognizing what you have already locks the doors to receiving any more.
3. Take a good, hard look at what’s not working. What wants to change? What’s calling for your attention that you’re not sure you really want to look at or choose to ignore? It’s because of not paying attention and ignoring too long that our higher consciousness is now asking us to make changes, to do better, to go higher.
4. Write it all down. There’s no better way to get real than to put pen to paper. Thoughts coming through this way are often the most enlightened and the most accurate. It’s very hard to lie to yourself when you’re talking to your higher Self on paper!
5. Take action. There’s no better way out of the old-winter-doldrums than cleaning out closets, emptying the refrigerator of all that old stuff, and finally, taking action steps toward your dreams! It makes energy move, and movement here is what is being called for!

Even if you don’t know how you’re going to get there, (not all spring flowers have been born yet) it’s time to take action steps on some bigger picture items on your “I want to achieve” chart. (Yes. If you don’t have one, get one. This is your Soul talking to you!)

Taking any kind of first step to these bigger desires you have is incredibly invigorating.

Even if it’s just one small step, you’re going to feel movement in that direction, and the resulting satisfaction is very uplifting.You can do this!

You can have more, achieve more, and desire more.

God is waiting to give to you, and with open arms - and feet that move - you can receive.
