It's hard to believe I'm writing to you and it's already November. Where has this year gone? It seems time has flown by, and I know it's because we've been busy. We're handling a lot of things, we go from day to day to day, and pretty soon, we're looking at the holidays coming up!
It can be all too easy to keep going on our regular cycles and our routines without having a moment to catch our breath and have a look at the big picture. I know for myself, if it weren't for a daily meditation and journaling ritual every morning, plus a lesson in A Course in Miracles, it would be only too easy to just keep up with the day's demands, and not receive that clear guidance around what I'm really here for. In the last month or so, I've been seeing a lot of people faced with a number of difficulties that have come up and become challenging to handle. It seems as though life is really demanding that: "you're either in alignment with your truth, or you're going to face a lot of difficulty."
It's hard for me to say that to people, but don't shoot the messenger! If you've been maintaining a good spiritual practice—whatever that looks like for you—you've likely been taking little and not-so-little steps all along your journey. It's as though if that spiritual attunement, or daily practice, is being ignored you won't be able to hear the guidance being given to you. Not at all. You've got to set yourself up in some way to hear a guidance that is larger than your own chaotic thinking—a thinking that is based on all the information that is swirling at you from your world.
So I'm calling you to rise up. I'm here as that little voice that is already within you, saying, "You can get through this, and in order to do so, you're going to need to rise up."
And that means letting go of whatever it is from your past that's still active and trying to seek release.
Here are a few questions for you:
What about your past is making a difficult exit?
What about this situation are you hanging on to, and don't want to let go of?
I'm just going to leave these two questions for you at that. I could go on, but I know that if you've been out of touch with your Higher Self for a while, just even one question may send you into a tizzy! So take your time, and grapple with this when you can carve out some time to do it, time to take care of yourself and do what is most important to you, for the happiness and peace in your life.
This is what it really comes down to. What is true for you?
Are you taking time to sit quietly and figure that out?
It doesn't usually come on its own or when you're preoccupied and not choosing to look more deeply. Truth stands present at all times, but we must be willing to look at it!
