If you'd like to listen to this blog post, you can do so here.
You know, recently I've had the honor and the privilege of working with some individuals in helping them create what they want. It seems that so many of us are used to experiencing limitation, or resistance, from "the Universe." We can feel like God is against us, doesn't want us to succeed, or is "teaching us lessons" or some such nonsense as that.
It's not like that; it's not like that at all.
God is not working against you. It never has, and it never shall. What you hold inside is what is creating the reality that you are experiencing.
This isn't just some kind of spiritual theory to ponder when you have time to get around to it. This is spiritual law. These are laws of the universe. This is what creates your reality.
In my work delivering quite a few Energy Scans in the past few weeks, I've gotten to see all kinds of individuals from the perspective of the inner planes. And all I can tell you is how fascinated I am that we are all so different! When Christ in His teachings told us "Judge ye not lest ye be judged," I can understand why this is such an important teaching. Who are we to know or decide what is real or right or "should be" for another, when we have no idea what it is to walk in their shoes?
The stories we hold inside of us about ourselves are what create this massive thing we call our reality out there. Your health, your finances, your relationships, your success in your career or business: whatever you've got going on, it's all emanating from you.
God is there to help, but undoubtedly, we don't have any faith in that. We think It is some outside measure of good or evil that is doling out reward or punishment as It sees fit, and we are somehow at the whim of Its fancy, whatever that may be.
This is not only entirely incorrect, it's very damaging to your life experience if that is what you believe. How can you have any control over anything if some outside, unseen force is somehow stopping you? Why bother with attempting anything at all, if this is really the case?
And is it really the case?
Weren't we told, "We are created in the image of God?"
And if God is an all-loving, creative force, then aren't we as well?
Look at all the individuals who have created something enormously special, influential, and successful and created a positive impact in the world. Has God somehow spared them from the rod of barrier and resistance? No! They had a vision and stuck to it and kept going no matter what!
I see so many good people with gifts and talents galore, sitting there in a state of barrier: barriers against themselves, barriers against the world, barriers against their own connection to Source which would love them and support them in every way possible if they would only see it and allow it.
So my gift to you in this message is to ask you to change what's going on inside. Change the images of what you are focusing on in your mind. This is free. It's your power, in fact, and it is what spurs on your vision. Without this, you are creating by default, and frankly, what you see is what you get. If that's alright with you, then I'm happy for you. If that's not alright with you, change it.
For those of you who really do want to get going finally and can't stand it anymore, these are a couple of prerequisites of what I see in the people that come forward to work with me privately. I don't really take many private clients because I really love working in groups, so perhaps in the future you're going to see more announcements about group programs that are going on.
And the reason I like working with groups is that people learn from each other. There's somehow an additional master mind that happens that causes people to ask questions that someone else needs the answer to. There's this magical thing that happens in a group setting that I really love to facilitate.
But here's what I see in people who want to come forward and change things:
1) They're willing to make shifts.
This is a big one. Some people say they want or they're intrigued by wanting to have a shift; however, inside they're too petrified of making a change. And all of these other barriers are coming forward: "Well, what will my husband think?" "What will my children think?" "What will my boss? My colleagues? My parents? My brothers and sisters? My best friends? My job?" All of these things come to the forefront.
Immediately, as soon as you have a vision come to you, there is the anti-vision, as I like to call it, which the Course in Miracles will call your ego which wants to stop you from any change. So if this ego and this fear, this anti-vision, is much bigger than your vision, then it's going to win. And, I'm sorry, we're not going to be a good fit. I can help you make your vision bigger, and in order to do that, you need to be willing to change. And before you're willing, I encourage you just to listen to a lot more podcasts, read a lot more blog posts, until you feel ready.
2) They're willing to pay for private or group guidance.
That means parting with some money. Now, I have invested in myself well over a couple hundred thousand dollars over the years in coaches and in programs. I love learning. Why? Because my life improves because of it. And I'm really happy with my life right now. I am! I'm not bragging--in fact, I talk about it not so much because, for some reason, people get mad when you're happy. I'm all about happy, it's our divine right. Okay?
So, when I have invested myself with the right people who are teaching the things that I'm up for learning next, I learn them, I do the homework, and I implement - put those things that I've learned, into some kind of action - so that the things that I'm doing, the things that I'm offering, become a reality in the world and they're assisting other people.
I'm fundamentally an artist, really, and I have to learn things about business because it doesn't come naturally to me. Business comes naturally to a lot of other people, but they may have a little bit of difficulty being an artist. I believe we can do all things. God tells us we can do all things. We can! If you wanted to be a scientist, a mathematician, a ballet dancer, you might have to do some training for all those things, but you have the ability, the capacity, to be/do/have whatever your desire is.
You have to invest in yourself. Yes, it costs money to get really high level support.
3) They're not willing to stay stuck.
They're not willing to sit around anymore knowing their potential is untapped and sitting out there somewhere in limbo land. There is too much at stake for them, and for their full expression, and they know it.
What comes to mind is a quote from Anaïs Nin - who was for many years a lover of Henry Miller, one of America's great authors. She said the time came when to stay in a bud was too painful, and so she had to bloom. Those aren't the exact words, but it's very close to that. You might be feeling like to stay closed in a bud is so painful, you have to bloom.
This is the point that you're at where it's appropriate to start investing in yourself, either through group programs or private support. You may have been doing lots of programs that were independent study and low cost, but if you really want to go far, get that private support.
Okay, so those are the three prerequisites, or what I see in individuals who are ready to go far:
Working with me requires an application and then for us to have a phone call. I want to see what's up and to see if you're willing to change your beliefs about yourself. I'm not saying this needs to happen overnight, because I guarantee you will somehow resist that too. What I am saying is that you must at least be willing.
That's all it takes: willingness, and then your life can change in so many miraculous ways.
If this sounds right for you, I look forward to reading through your application.
If it's not right for you, it's okay. It's totally okay; I have hundreds of hours of podcasts that you can listen to and blog posts that you can read.
You're also welcome to join my Facebook group called, "Soul-Filled Lives and Livelihoods," where you can connect with others and share some of your experiences and be supported.
Thank you. I wish you only the greatest happiness in your life,
