What to say, when to say it and why your voice is important
We are in some tumultuous times at the moment, and I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say or write, "I don't normally talk about politics but..."
And it's that "BUT".
But, we can't stay silent, and nor should we.
If you need a little inspiration, justification or even understanding why you may struggle inside with saying anything at all, I made a short video that will explain a few things to you.
We don't want to remain silent in the face of evil, otherwise it grows.
If you're spiritually oriented, you have a role to play in your communities. You know that already.
But what happens when you opt to "stay out of politics"?
What are you saying to your Jewish, African American, Hispanic, Muslim, or any other race or creed that are your friends, neighbors, co-workers - or simply fellow citizens, when you choose silence?
Here are a few tips that may help you understand: the how, when, what and why of using your voice.
Remember, we stand for Love, not hate, and must be vigilant in our thinking, behavior and voices in these times.
