The Global Energetic Downloads - What are they?

For years now, I have been practicing what A Course in Miracles refers to as 'extending a holy instant to my brother', the result of 18 years of study and implementation of that life-transforming text. In that work, a practitioner extends to another individual a moment where all time is suspended, and the Holy Spirit may enter and deliver transformative healing. During this transference, there is an instant of suspension in the belief of self-doubt, guilt, judgment, and fear - what prohibits most individuals from knowing who they truly are.

As the Course and Spirit have continued to guide me over the years, extending this holy instant transferred not only to single individuals, but then to groups of people. This occurred initially in my home, 4 years ago. It was at this time that I discovered the energy wasn't going through me per se, it completely engulfed the room and all its participants. We were often overwhelmed, unable to speak for long periods afterwards, and many claimed sensations of tingling and an inability to move their bodies in any way until they regained conscious awareness of their physical bodies.

It was also at this time that I was pushed to share my channeling abilities vocally. Since childhood I had kept a diary, one in which I could post questions and then receive answers from a very loving presence. When I was a young girl, this voice for me was Mother Mary. As I grew older - throughout college and beyond - the voice in words changed, but the loving guidance remained pure and strong.

I learned a lot from that voice. At times discussing things that brought greater awareness to me of life's challenges, love's longings, and encouragement to keep expanding my path. In more recent years, it is the constant of my morning routine: writing with Spirit.

And so these local energetic downloads happening in my living room week after week transformed into a channeled guidance that accompanied the transformative energies, and explained to us the power and intent of - at times - certain colors we could utilize as tools to transform the challenges in our existence. Or to simply expand certain areas of our lives if that's what we wanted to do.

These living room events turned into more public courses where individuals could sign up for a set of weeks, and then since last fall at the closing of 2012, I was encouraged and guided to offer these 'holy instants' - or energy transfers - to an online community, so that individuals could be reached throughout the world.

Every step of growth demanded more courage, more confidence for me to 'step out' and beyond myself. I was reluctant as, many years as a professional left me with residues of always wanting to present at the highest level of professional acceptance there could be.

And yet, I saw people's lives transforming from this work.

Not only was I expanded as an individual, but my abilities to deliver what God wanted for them grew as well. My ego had to be gone (taking much practice), and I stepped up to the plate to make this miracle of transformation available to whom God would call forth.

These events I now hold are called The Global Energetic Downloads. I've had the pleasure of serving so many that have come from around the world, seeking in curiosity, who are already so adept at their own spiritual path. I am challenged, and yet, it leaves me free to know that I am not the one in charge. Holy Spirit has promised the gifts it would bring, and my own requirement is a little willingness to offer myself up to be the vehicle through which Spirit may speak.
