Standing in Your Truth
If you'd like to listen to this article, you can do so here:
We are heading into the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, and most of us are trying to get in as much as possible before those days arrive. We know that when we get there, we'll be busy in the kitchen. Then we'll finally get to sitting around and relaxing for several days with friends and family. Even the neighbor's dog might join in!
One thing that has been happening for us here, and perhaps for many other countries around the world, is a clash of ideas. People are arguing like they never have before. Friends are being "unfriended," and the sweetest, most non-confrontational people you know are now somehow feeling angry and expressing their fear, discontent, and confusion.
It's understandable. And we need to be understanding.
I also think it's important to keep the conversation going, no matter how uncomfortable it is. There are rights that are at risk these days, and people's lives and livelihoods could be shattered if we're not standing up and speaking what we know to be true.
If you've been paying attention at all to my newsletters, you know that I've been relentless about inviting you to come enjoy the (free) Live Global Energetic Downloads. Some have come, and some have not.
So you see, I don't recommend remaining silent, while someone's statements are riling you up inside. And I also don't recommend that you "fight back" and raise the decibel level at the dinner table either. There is an easier way to go.
In my experience, remaining calm when someone else is not, brings them into calm.
Being wise when someone has lost their sense of fairness, brings them closer to the light of Truth.
Clarifying what you feel, with a hand over your heart, and being really firm in your Truth, usually causes people to stop, take a pause, and hear what you have to say.
Listen, learn, speak.
Those are my tidbits for your table this weekend!
NOW. If you still haven't joined us yet, you still can do so at the Live Global Energetic Downloads, and pick up a few things that may be useful to you.
Peace, Love, and Many Blessings,
