Your Highest Function in the World

​I hope you're enjoying all the excitement that the beginning of a new year brings.  I am.  It IS so exciting, like hitting a re-set button, and getting to decide what you want for the year ahead.

Although I have some loose ideas, I know better.  I know that only God has the highest and best plans for me, and I'd best simply "get out of the way", and let them happen.

But in the midst of my wondering what I 'should' focus on next in my life and business (they feel all the same to me - which is such a great joy) I fell ill, and found myself being stuck in bed, resting, until a fever had passed.

Well that took about 3 days to be precise, and many days longer until I had my strength back.

​As you can well imagine, whenever one is stuck in bed feeling awful, one has to ask why, and what is the Universe/God/Source/Holy Spirit wanting to get my attention about?

Well, the answer was quite clear.  There is no more fussing about with different activities, or distractions for me, I am being called to simply teach.

One video per week, I am instructed, and that is all I need to do.

Sounds easy enough, right?  Well...  then what happens when the lights are turned on, the camera is blinking, and it's time to speak?  

I think I shall have to get used to this.

And perhaps the first one isn't so great, but one must "find one's voice". (Although I'm told it's already been there for some time already.  😉

Perhaps this is why, after all, I went to NYU film school. It must have been for some reason!  😂

And don't worry, in the future, I'll likely sound a little less sniffly, and a bit more energetic, as the purpose of the flu was recognized, and now I don't need it any more.  😷
