Endings and Beginnings

There are always cycles of change, whether we want to acknowledge them or not.

By paying attention to what wants to leave you, you can open the doors to new beginnings and new change even if you're not sure what that will be!

Learning to let go of what doesn't serve you is one of the greatest skills there is.

I don’t know if you’ve been feeling it, but we are in a very challenging period of many endings with only rare glimpses of new beginnings on the horizon.

Yes, we all know the simple adage that spring is just around the corner, and with it comes all the new beginnings that the season promises.

However, I want to also emphasize that the cosmic forces in tow, as of this month’s new moon, are indicating a number of endings, both in the planetary and in the resulting energetic forms as they are received here on Earth.

We can see it in political structures whose weakness and fallibility are being exposed, to the absolute rejection of hatred and intolerance, calling for a stronger unity with those who stand for love. And we see it in the powerful new generations of young people who will not tolerate inaction against climate change.

But before any new beginning arrives, the old must go so that the end can be complete.

Cosmic, political and environmental shifts aside, what I am interested in is you. What effects the world is also entering into your personal life as well. From the macro to the micro. You might be seeing or experiencing any of the following:

Relationships you thought would last forever, are now feeling like they’ve reached their conclusion

Work you thought mattered to you, doesn’t have the same pull anymore, and in fact, wants to leave you

Your health is calling you to up-level your self-care in ways you already know how, but aren't doing

People you now meet represent a new calling, a new phase that is indicating to you new possibilities

“Don’t let go!” is what the ego wants to say. It wants to hang on, to fight, to test your resilience. This is the part of you that doesn’t want change; it believes that things staying as they have always been is a whole lot easier.

In my own personal and professional life I have seen a number of areas simultaneously want to leave just as the highest level I can imagine only now begin to appear from above.

I am very careful not to ‘have goals’. So often these can be coming from the ego, and lead you down the wrong path. If anything, I ask that I remain in highest alignment with what Christ would have me be and do, for Him, and also, as a side note, what He would have me have!

I know this smacks of evangelical Christianity, but I am not that. What I am is a student of A Course in Miracles. And after a bout of sadness on Saturday, from all the multitudinous ways that people/circumstances/and events are leaving me en masse - it seems in the last few weeks - I came across this lesson simply by opening my Course where it may:

“The light has come.”

The light has come. You are healed and you can heal. The light has come. You are saved and you can save. You are at peace, and you bring peace with you wherever you go. Darkness and turmoil and death have disappeared. The light has come.

Today we celebrate the happy ending to your long dream of disaster. There are no dark dreams now. The light has come. Today the time of light begins for you and everyone. It is a new era, in which a new world is born. The old one has left no trace upon it in its passing. Today we see a different world because the light has come.”

A Course in Miracles

(I don’t recommend doing the Course by randomly picking lessons here and there. The instructions are quite clear in that you start the Course at Chapter 1, page 1, and go from there. As a student for 24 years now, I am directed clearly, and this is what I was led to.)

Not only did this lesson lift, and remind, and catapult me upward again, I found just a few hours later when visiting an ACIM Facebook group, that someone else had just posted the exact same lesson! The chances of that happening, a quote from a 1400 page text, is not chance. It’s the Divine emphasizing a point to me very clearly!

So here are some resulting realizations: I now feel called to focus all my efforts on my work as a healer. This is what all the training in the Course has prepared me for, and what I will be focusing on.

The Global Energetic Downloads are an extension of that healing work, available to many in group form. It is the way in which new energies and transformation can be delivered, and they have been extraordinary indeed. We just had one on March 6, and I’ll be doing another one monthly going forward.

My coaching practice is on its way out. It’s hard to be saying that, as I’ve invested years in building a practice. But I can see it's taking time and energy away from my true calling. Any calling is a gift, and as I would tell any one of my private clients, you must honor your gifts and give them to the world.

As I create more space for myself and the work of a higher calling, I can see I am in so much more peace. In the light of knowing who I truly am and what I am here for, I can look forward to the continued joy and pleasure it brings to do what's in highest alignment for me.

I highly recommend you do the same for yourself!

So here are a few bits of unsolicited advice for you to ponder this week:

Please… pay attention. If something is trying to leave you, let it!

Just stay still. It will go on its own. You don’t have to “try” to do anything.

If there is any action to take, you will know what it is.

Meditate. Allow the energies to flow through you internally, and you will find much more peace about your external situation very soon.
